The Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League (A2RL) is an innovative racing series where teams battle it out with AI-driven race cars at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. The league aims to expand the horizons of autonomous technology, advance AI in motorsport, and highlight the capabilities of self-driving vehicles. We were fortunate that our longstanding partner, Pangaea Creative, collaborated with A2RL on brand assets leading up to the inaugural race of 2024.
This positioned us perfectly to craft the winner's trophies for the occasion. The key to our process was to develop a design that featured an impressive selection of materials while appearing dynamic in both form and detail. After diving into the brand assets, our team generated a variety of concepts, ultimately honing in on a singular direction. 3D CAD models were then created, and the components were readied for production.
